A more inclusive world, online and offline
Our journey began with a challenge we’ve faced for over a decade: finding stock images that truly represent the diversity of our communities.
We set out to solve this by creating AI-generated stock images that reflect the real world. But as we built the business, we began to realise our role in tackling a bigger issue.
If our goal was to foster greater inclusion using AI, we couldn’t ignore the danger of bias within AI. Models trained on incomplete data within non-diverse teams across homogenous companies are doomed to reflect — and in some cases amplify — societal biases.
We realised that our mission wasn’t just about diverse images; it was about changing how AI learns and represents people.
Through research, data and education that centres marginalised communities, we’re working to build AI systems that are fairer and more inclusive.
We want to ensure that AI works for the many, not the few.
If you share our passion for fostering inclusion and correcting biases in AI, we’d love to speak with you!
Our mission is to use the power of AI to drive inclusion while transforming AI models and spaces to be more representative through data, research, education and content.
